This is a very special episode because we invited our friend Tom King to join us! He’s been an avid gamer for years and is a member of local bands Robotronica and Sons of Promethius(who also provides the music for this episode). We report on and discuss a few announcements from the Game Developers Conference - most notably the announcement of Sony HOME, changes in the SIXAXIS controller, a Sega Pachinko game using the Wii using Miis and Wi-fi (*gasp!*), Fable 2 and the ability to get pregnant and have children, and we also rant and rave about miscellaneous other topics. Catch Robotronica playing a few upcoming shows in Bellingham - May 3 at Chiribins (21+) and May 4 at Fantasia Coffee (all-ages).

Look out for some upcoming changes to this site soon. We might start updating with news much more often….

Sincerely,
Aaron

It’s Joystiq with a q opening episode 24. We’ve been wanting to intro with ‘Living in a Box’ for a while and now here it is for your listening pleasure. Check out their MySpace for more insanely incredible songs. Also in the cast, cause that’s what we do. We talk N-Gage news, cause Aaron keeps track of that stuff. Also we chat about the new CAPCOMmunity, news on the crazy Nintendo auction, Strong Bad Wii games, and get people to design a Mii that looks like you for $5.

And my Mii parade kicks Aaron’s and Chris’ Mii parades ass’s. I rock the house.

We also mention my upcoming PSP purchase.

Hearts,

Lauren

We muse about the news you can most definitely use. In this podcast we discuss Sim City DS, Yakuza the Movie, some of the new Virtual Console games, PSP news and the latest Sony slam on Nintendo.

NEStalgia opens up for us this week with their song Castlevania. Enjoy it on their MySpace page, too.

Also, for some reason Aaron thinks I like crossword puzzles…

Enjoy!

Hide your sons and daughters, the podcast is legal! Or so says my other co-hosts.

Due to our recent trip to Microsoft we're getting this podcast to you a little late. This week's podcast will be posted soon, so you get two for the price of one...or none...cause they're free. Heh.

Well in this podcast you can look forward to Chris giving us an update on his recent purchase aka "He's the proud owner of a Nintendo Wii." We also talk about our trip to Microsoft for a podcasting panel in which we came up with some cool ideas to expand our podcast. And of course a couple of JToFs. This week's intro is courtesy of Cicatriz and their song Knuckles, check out some more of their tunes here.

Keep a look out for the next podcast and we'll back on a somewhat regular schedule this week.

Hearts,

Lauren

Gamespeek - Episode 20

Episode 20!! We celebrated by kicking Lauren off and renaming the "Chris and Aaron Show" (Actually she was just on her cell phone trying to order a new Motorola Razor). We discuss current and past Final Fantasy games, we talked about what we've been playing like always, talk about how much we want the Apple iPhone (more than a PS3), the weird Emmy awards for Sony and Nintendo and their controllers (wtf), more videogame consoles and porn, our feelings about the controversial Super Columbine Massacre RPG, the new version of E3 (called the Entertainment for All Expo) and MUCH more.

The awesome rendition of the Zelda theme is provided by Stage 3-1. Check it out!

With love forever,
Aaron
